Hello, I'm Matt Williamson. What's going on at Williamson NFL? It is almost

combine time. I'll be traveling to Indy on Monday. Be there all week. Come home Friday. Do a whole

bunch of radio while I'm there.

So I think this is kind of a big podcast. I've been hesitant to put my stamp on how I would

handle the Steelers quarterback position. But I think I have my conclusion. And I want to preface this by Jeremy Fowler came out recently and said

he thinks the Steelers are very interested in Rogers and I'm paraphrasing and that Rogers

is interested in them. But it'll probably be a few months before they get that decision.

A few months. That's part of the equation here. And not surprisingly, the Steelers are doing a lot

of work on this quarterback class. Now, every team does work on every quarterback class, but some

dig in deeper than others,

and it's not that hard for some of these insiders to figure that out.

So let's start there.

I have come to my conclusion, but I wanted to talk about Ty Simpson first.

I could be convinced that Ty Simpson's worth the 21st overall pick.

And I bet his buzz will start to climb.

I mean, he's expected to interview extremely well.

I'm sure he'll be able to explain away some of the issues that plagued him in the last four or five games or so of the year,

which were not pretty for Alabama.

So I am interested in that situation.

In the draft, I'm more interested in Cole Payton or Drew Aller as like a fourth round pick, maybe at the end of the third.

Something like that.
