Skip, I wanted to do a mailbag,

holiday mailbag.

There's a couple questions about Caleb Johnson, but I picked this one from Skip Bittman,

first of all.

Caleb Johnson might turn out to be a good running back, but wasn't that a wasted pick.

Sure could have used help at wide receiver or DB in 2025.

It sure looks like it.

I mean,

let's remember, let's put our way back caps on here.

This was considered a super deep and really, really good running back draft.

So in some hindsight, you could sit here and say, why use that early of a pick on the position for a banger? Now, I also don't think anyone knew how good Kenneth Gainwell was going

to be either. I mean, the plan was big young back, the semi-be-the-naugy, Warren stays Warren, and maybe gets a 20% bump in overall usage,

mixing Gainwell as the third guy, returner, etc. Obviously, Gainwell's far exceeded that.

Johnson's far left to be desired that. I know that's not a word. So there's

definitely hindsight there. And remember, they had used, they didn't draft, their second round

pick on a receiver, but I think what you're saying makes sense. I mean, if you could swap out Caleb Johnson for one of the receivers that was still on the board, that would make you better team.
