Things are good on my end.

Some action from the South Side, namely a contract extension, as I'm sure you've heard.

For Nick Herbig, four years, 100 million,

includes 42 million in guaranteed money, obviously an average annual salary of 25 million per year.

I love it. I know that, is that a lot of money? Yeah, it's an awful lot of money. Is he a backup?

I guess technically, yes. But I think he's a great football player. And frankly, I think he's one of the best edge rushers in the league.

I want to start with his run defense. I think that has improved every step of the way.

And last year was clearly his best run defense season. I don't think he'll ever be

James Harrison set in the edge or T.J. Watt is a run defender.

And I also think that's a big reason Sawyer was drafted a year ago is if Highsmith or Watt were to get injured.

I think they wanted Sawyer to do a little bit early down stuff while Herbig would, you know, stepped into the starting

role. And I think that totally adds up. That being said, as it stands now, and I don't think

this will change, Herbig does not have to be an every down player, but I definitely expect his role

to grow.

So I think he's a good run defender.

I also think he can play off the ball a little bit and can drop into coverage quite a bit.

It's not why you're paying him.

You're paying him to be a great pass rusher, as I mentioned.

But I bring that up the off-the-ball stuff and dropping into coverage because just
