Had a good vacation.

Now we're ready to dig into the season.

I will be in La Trobe Wednesday morning.

No reason for me to get there on Report Day.

I'm recording this Sunday,

so we have a couple shows in between. But something that FTN put out, that's the football outsider's almanac. I reference this all the time. But in conjunction, they put out an article talking about every team how they handle

what their performance last year was against the slots. Receivers aligned in the slot.

That includes tight ends, running backs, everybody, versus receivers aligned out wide.

And the Steelers were much better against receivers aligned out wide.

Collectively, they were, I wouldn't say one of the worst.

They don't have them ranked here, but in DVOA, you want negative numbers on defense.

So zero is average below, you know, negative numbers are good.

The Steelers came in at a 12, which was quite bad against slot receivers as a team. Now, against

players out wide, you get players out wide, they were minus 6.3, which is quite good.

So I'll get this, I know it's a little confusing, but you'll come the same conclusion I do, I think, here in a minute.

I think a lot of that is picking on linebackers and safeties.

I don't think it's corners.

And that's where I really wanted to talk to you today about, is Steelers' cornerback situation.

We know Porter and Dean are going to be outside. It sure looks

like Ramsey's going to be the slot. One of the things I'm most excited about to really get a final
