Hello, I am Matt Williamson. How's it going today? Yesterday, I really broke down the Steelers' current state in their back seven, suggesting that maybe they're more or less done there. And some of your comments didn't like that. Yeah, you got to get another corner, which I totally get, totally respect. And some of you kind of agreed and said, yeah, I get it. And a lot of you asked, you know, well, what do you think about the defensive front then? Hey, we like this podcast. Why don't we take this a step further and talk about the D-line, you know,

outside linebackers, nose, the ends, whatever you want to call them. So I don't think this

is going to come to huge shock, but I don't think edge, first off, let's just get this out of the

way. This draft is awesome with defensive linemen from Casey Hampton to Joey Porter and everything in

between. There is all shapes and sizes and it's really deep and the Steelers have set themselves

up to dip their toe in those waters, but I don't think it's going to be with edge guys. I mean,

as you know, they have T.J. Watt.

They have Alex Highsmith.

They have Nick Herbig.

I just went to Our Lads to pull up their guide, but they have Liao listed as an outside linebacker.

Jeremiah Moon was useful as a special teamer and is going to be in camp at least.

So there's maybe a spot for one, especially if they were a really good special

teamer.

But I think that's a six or seventh round flyer type of thing.

And I'm not going to start really digging into the possible draft guys like I'm going to with defensive tackles here.

But the defensive tackle depth chart is it stands right now.

Again, they list Benton as a nose, but I think they'd really like Benton to be an end.

But remember, most of the time, there's two defensive tackles on the field.

We're calling these guys defensive tackles, not as much nose and end like the Aaron Smith-Hampton days.

But anyways, on the depth chart, we got Benton, we got Adams, who I thought was a little disappointing after his injury last year.

But I'm glad he's coming back.

I liked what he did before his injury quite a bit in the Steeler outfit uniform.
