Well, hello, everyone. I am Matt Williamson. How is it going? Things are good.

A little bit of news, and this is not shocking. This has been linked to the Steelers for some time, but now it is official, that they have signed Dean Lowry to a one-year

contract. I was just looking for the compensation, the details, haven't been able to find it. I assume

it's a couple million bucks or league minimum or slightly above, maybe a little bit of guaranteed money.

But I bet his contract doesn't imply that he's guaranteed a roster spot.

That being said, I think that it's a good pickup.

Last we saw him, and there were some injuries, obviously.

He is what I call an inning eater amongst defensive tackles. He's that pitcher that

comes in, you know, when your starter gets rocked a little bit and he can give you four

middle relief innings and do okay. Or that last starter, you know, pitching starter that can hold his own.

It's been around the league.

Sometimes he gets hit pretty hard, but usually gives you a bunch of innings and saves your bullpen.

You know, I know that's not super flashy, but I think that that is a valuable piece to any defensive front.

And the Steelers have had like Chris Wormley's in that role.

You know, they've always had like that as their fourth dude.

I think the D-Lines in a lot better shape now, and we're going to get into this,

where Lowry, I don't think, will ever really be your fourth guy, assuming health.

You know, he's their fifth or sixth guy. And I would take Lowry probably over a warmly,

or certainly over Loudermilk and guys of that nature. So I definitely understand this. And I think

that it's becoming very obvious. And I think you guys should notice this too,

that since Omar Khan has taken over, they will almost always side on the one more big guy,

you know, on both sides of the ball, the 300-pounders, the detackles on defense and the
