A good Monday to you in this, the middle of the Christmas season.

I hope you are enjoying the holidays.

All of the pageantry, all of the caroling, all of the church services,

all of the little kids doing their annual chaotic reenactment of the arrival of Jesus in the world but you know it occurred to me

last night fetching mrs hewitt and i were at our highest and best uses last night we were babysitting

and we were driving on pretty late from where we were babysitting and there are many christmas lights

out and i realize lots of people don't know why we do Christmas lights or what it's all about.

They know it's the holiday season.

And we don't live in a post-Christian age.

We live in an anti-Christian age.
