I think I've said a couple of times on the podcast that I had a stated goal when I started

with the concept of sports, politics, and life as the subheading of

Kevin Keatsman has issues, that the one thing I was always going to stay away from was

abortion, because I've never really understood how anyone can win on any sort of an argument

about this debate in this country that for me has never

swayed one person. I don't know anybody who's really been swayed or changed their mind

on the issue of abortion and what this means to them. And I also, I'm just, I'm going to be

totally upfront with you about the whole thing.

It is also on a list of issues and things that are important to me, this may upset you,

it may disappoint you.

It is not near the top. And part of the reason it's not near the top is there's just never been anything compelling

to me that this is going to be overturned, and I'm not just specifically

talking about Roe versus Wade. We'll get into that in a moment. Not specifically that it's going

to be overturned or it's going to change, that even if we passed laws, abortions would still

happen. They would happen in dark, secretive places. The whole thing to me is terrible. I've never been personally

in a position where I've been involved in any sort of a situation to make any kind of a decision

on whether or not to have an abortion. So I can't speak about the experience. I'm no expert on this.

I'm certainly not going to judge you morally one way or the other based on what your view is. And I'm not going to give you my moral views on the thing. So I'm amending what I said when I started out on this, when I said I was going to avoid abortion. The reason I avoid talking about abortion is I just don't feel like it's my place. This is maybe the libertarian in me. And I think I'm a conservative, not a libertarian, but this is maybe the libertarian in me. It just isn't my place. I really, this is maybe the libertarian in me.
