The Supreme Court has agreed to fast track the redistricting in Louisiana, despite a dissent from Katanji Brown Jackson.

And there is a response to the dissent from Elito.

And I can only say, after reading through this and seeing what is going on with the midterm elections, we're at war or something.

Look, I know.

Maybe a little hyperbolic.

But I cannot help but feel like something massive is underway when I read these decisions.

And if you don't know what's going on, the quick gist is that the Supreme Court has

effectively overturned a precedent on Section 2 of the Voting Rights Act that allowed Democrats to force racially gerrymandered districts across the country.

Republicans said, we shouldn't do that.

The Supreme Court agreed.

And now in Louisiana, they have potentially two congressional districts that were drawn up based on race, they must get rid of.

Here's the thing. That is a massive strike against Democrat congressional districting.

And now the DOJ says they are going to go to every state and force them to comply with the Supreme

Court ruling, meaning on the light end,

Republicans could gain 12 congressional seats.

Democrats would lose 12 congressional seats, but wait, it gets crazier.

Last night, the Supreme Court put out a decision bypassing a 32 day petition period for those who

were dissenting to this ruling basically you get two parties you get this guy he's like hey

you can't do this it's racist Supreme Court says we agree typically you get a month to try and file there will be a stay,

nothing moves. In this instance, Supreme Court said no 32-day period, no refile, no argument,

redraw those maps now. And at the same time, ballots had already been cast. I want to stress

this.
