The Supreme Court just dropped a ruling and 8-1.

I guess the news is Clarence Thomas thinks that women who have restraining orders

against men who have been violent toward them that those men should not have

their guns taken away that they should be able to be fully armed, because,

Clarence Thomas says, that's the way it was at the founding of the republic.

I mean, it's literally that nuts. He says Thomas was the

loan to center is an 8 to 1 decision that said that yes guns can be taken

away from domestic abusers

and Clarence Thomas

argued that because wife beating was not generally a

crime at the time of the country's founding, it shouldn't be one now.

Well, you know, whipping slaves wasn't, you know, black people wasn't a crime at the

founding of this republic either.

I mean, seriously, Clarence, you really want to go there?

This is just astonishing. He said all regulations of firearms should be deemed in violation

of the Second Amendment, quote, unless it is consistent

with the nation's historical tradition

of firearm regulation.

So that's today's absurd Supreme Court decision.

Yesterday's absurd a Supreme Court decision is that, well actually it wasn't even the

Supreme Court decision, it's what's going to the Supreme Court.
