0:45.8	Exactly right. And we're going to talk today about, of course, the threat to democracy that is Donald Trump,
0:52.2	the danger of the presidency, but we're also going to talk a lot
0:54.9	about the way that the court has not just enabled this authoritarianism, but how it's really
1:00.3	cut down on the power of the judiciary, including the lower courts, in stopping illegal acts.
1:06.4	So it's not just that they're sort of standing by and not doing their job.
1:10.7	They're actively participating in what I've called the self-coup, not a violent coup,
1:15.2	but the destruction of the other branches, the Congress by the president, and now the destruction
1:21.0	of the judiciary through the aiding of the Supreme Court itself.
1:25.8	Well, it's very close to my heart because, as you know, I was raised Catholic and the Vatican
1:29.1	doesn't allow us to self-koo ourselves.
1:31.4	So I see this happening.
1:32.8	And I want to begin by asking you about this birthright citizenship ruling professor,
1:37.2	because I have some thoughts.
1:38.5	It seems like the dirty six, I'm trying to find the right name for these people.
