Hey there, from CNN. I'm David Rind with the five things you need to know for Wednesday, April 1st.

0:07.0

Quick trivia question for you. When's the last time a sitting president attended Supreme Court oral arguments?

0:13.0

As far as we could tell, the answer is never, until today that is.

0:17.0

President Donald Trump made the short trip to the High Court this morning to watch oral

0:21.0

arguments in a massive case that could have huge implications for undocumented immigrants'

0:25.8

children born on U.S. soil. In short, the Trump administration is trying to limit

United States.

1:04.0

thereof, is flawed.

1:05.0

The examples you give to support that strike me as very quirky, you know, children of ambassadors, children of enemies

1:14.1

during a hostile invasion, children on warships, and then you expand it to the whole class

1:21.2

of illegal aliens are here in the country. I'm not quite sure how you can get to that big group

1:28.4

from such tiny and sort of idiosyncratic examples.

1:32.3

We can expect a ruling at the end of the term

1:34.0

in late June or early July.

1:37.1

Got to take a break when we come back.
