Yes I am alright Scott is the founder and CEO of train signal a tech company that creates online computer training products for IT professionals worldwide.

Train signal was started in 2002 with a focus on creating high quality training products that teach IT pros real world skills.

Given fire nation a little overview Scott but why don't you take a minute tell us about you personally we want to get to know you and then tell us about your business.

Thanks for having me first off so I definitely appreciate it.

Yeah so as you mentioned I started up train signal about 10 years ago really my back on was an IT I was an IT professional.

And one thing I found in common in teaching at a few different technical schools was these for profit technical centers were really too much about for profit you know making revenues and not as much about you know helping out the student.

So after being at you know these technical schools for two to three years I started supplementing the curriculum with my own training materials own philosophy you know using scenarios and stories and bringing in extra equipment and a lot of success with the students.

So what ended up happening I took this great idea that was working well for me in the classroom and then translated that brought it over to you know what I did for train signal.

So started off in 2002 and started creating really hands on detailed lab books and scenario driven more practical video training for for IT students.

So started off in 2002 and have grown throughout the years and have had a lot of success just by really focusing on quality you know quality over quantity we're definitely not a commodity type of company.

And have grown the company in revenues from you know obviously the first year starting from zero up through 2012 we just completed a year of seven million revenues and we have around 50 employees right now.

That's just exciting stuff Scott and I love when my guests talk about quality because that's the touch don't of entrepreneur on fire is my focus my goal here is to always be producing the highest audio quality the highest interview quality possible and so I just love when my guests are just on that city.

I just on that same mantra that same mindset I definitely commend you for that from building it from zero to seven million in 10 years 50 employees that's incredible we're definitely going to delve more into that later in the interview.

I can't you know I'll speak more to it but you know that's something I think is incredibly important is to just treat people right and the revenues and that type of thing will take care of themselves.
