Hey everybody welcome back to the bald move Pulp Feed we got another great movie for you

it's 2010 Scott Pilgrim and this is the ultra sexy 10 year anniversary version of the

Scott Pilgrim podcast. On August 13th, 2010, the Scott Pilgrim

versus the world was unleashed upon an unsuspecting the world. And you know what?

The world didn't appreciate it. The world said,

fuck you in your $80 million expensive pop culture reference

laden hipster film. I don't want none of it and it bombed out at the box office.

It's unfortunate Edgar Wright had to go out into the streets and just start punching people to make money back for this movie.

Yeah, yeah, he had to convert corpses to coin and

barely barely made it back and it's a damn shame because this thing, you know, was a graphic novel

series that was I don't think finished at the time. So this might have, you know was a graphic novel series that was I don't think finished at the time so this

might have you know really affected the fates of that poor Canadian gentleman it was a

video game which I highly I really really liked but it never got an update nor did it ever make it

onto like the modern machines of its day because probably this movie bombed and I

owned the Blu-ray but it's a very bare-bones copy.

So essentially got a director's commentary, some hastily thrown together,

blooper reels and trailers and that's it and I'm sure we've gotten a lot more love had this been a big hit

So there maybe we can talk about supposed to be why it didn't yeah, there was supposed to be a 4k

re-release coming out now and they were doing some stuff around it like they did a

live table read of the script recently like in the last week or so

and they were gonna re-release the movie, but then, you know, coronavirus, so.

It's movie's cursed, but because this movie has become kind of a cult classic.
