Hey, everyone, welcome back to another episode of Bok Talk, presented by Wendy's. We are back once again with the countdown to baseball for opening week, presented by Provident Credit Super Reward Checking. We Pay You. A lot has, there's so much to unpack this time, y'all. We have real baseball that was played. We're playing in the middle of a

damn pandemic, which is going to say it, and a really special guest. So to start things off,

real baseball was played. Shohei Otani made his 2020 debut, and this was, of course, his first

outing since undergoing Tommy John surgery. Did not go well. However, Trevor Bauer showed,

he still got it, through a bunch of strikeouts for the Reds recently, even kind of pretended to throw a ball over the fence because he was

kind of famous for doing that after he got pulled during an Indians outing during his time with

Cleveland. But more importantly, we're playing this in the

middle of a pandemic, like I mentioned. We're going to touch on that in a little bit. My guess

this week is A's royalty, well-known member of the A's crew organization, Scott Haddeburg.

And we talked about Moneyball, of course. We talked about how he's

viewed the game since he's played up until now, what he's excited about, the A's current

team. Of course, he touched on the pandemic because it is kind of taking over. Because just earlier

today, we recorded this on Monday, members of the Marlins, over a dozen members,

a dozen players tested positive for coronavirus.

Members of the staff as well, games were canceled,

or postponed is the word that we're using.

And I feel like it's definitely something

that we need to discuss because Marlins,

Orioles and Phillies and Yankees games as of now are postponed.

We have to use that term, even though that means cancellation.
