I would say my background is about 25 years of being a professor in academic medicine,

doing clinical work, teaching, and doing research for half of my career at University of Pennsylvania after graduating from University of Chicago Medical School.

And then the last half or about 14 years of being at Stanford University School of Medicine.

About a decade ago, I full time shifted into health care policy, quit the medical school,
