Good morning and welcome to the Independent Republic of Mike Graham right here on Talk Radio on day 6th of the Boris Johnson government.

Guess what? The sky has not

fallen in. The ferries haven't stopped running. Food hasn't run out yet and hospitals are still able

to dispense drugs. Ah, but that's because we haven't left yet, comes the cry from the Remainers.

Events over the last week have got the Europhiles into a right old state and they're doing

their level best to try and discredit anything and everything that Boris and his ministers propose. But let's face it, they are running scared and they're running for

the hills. The Boris bus is well and truly on a role. This very morning he's setting up a veteran's office

with the aim of probably looking after members of the armed forces and to put a halt to the

prosecution of soldiers as well. Put that together with his pledge to build a proper high-speed rail connection between

Leeds and Manchester, where it's actually needed and his firmness on no-deal preparations.

I'd say he's making things happen at a rapid rate.

And he hasn't even been in charge for a week yet.

Today he's up in Scotland for a showdown with Ruth Davidson, and he's bringing a big bag of money.

Can he save the union single-handedly? We'll be finding out 03444-49-1,000.
