Hey everyone, today we're taking a step back from our usual broken record content to

take a deep dive into the making of the music rich score of another show up, Pushkin,

Bad Women.

The first season of Bad Women focused on reconstructing the lives of the five women killed by Jack

the Ripper.

Now the second season is out and the center is around a murderer every bit as terrible

as Jack the Ripper, the so-called Blackout Ripper.

I speak with sound designer Pascal Weiss and jazz guitarist Ed Gawkin about how they

evoked the atmosphere of the time.

We listened to the songs Pascal and Ed recorded for the new soundtrack and talked about their

process for creating them and at the end, they treated us to nice performance.
