I don't want to confuse anyone.

We usually do Scoop on a Monday, but we're doing it on a Tuesday just due to some travel. And actually,

this has been a little bit of a blessing in a tough news environment that we're visiting

on a Tuesday instead of a Monday because we did get some breaking news on Monday as we start

off really the final week before the Christmas holiday. We're going to continue to have one

more scoop before Christmas

before we get into 2025. I'll keep you updated on that. It's going to be a little bit different of a

program than we normally do, but I'm excited about that. And I look forward to visiting with you

before we really hopefully can relax for the holiday. Someone quickly, knock on wood. What do we do?

Knock on wood. Cross our heart, kiss

our elbow, toss salt over your shoulder, whatever you need to do with the hopes that we do have

a time for peace at this time of year, for ourselves, for our communities, and also for the world.

The imagery of doves is something that has really come up over the last several days for me,

and it's come up in an interesting way, and pieces come up in an interesting way.

One was a visit that I did on Sunday to Mount Vernon, the home of George Washington.

For those of you who have been there, you'll know this fact, but I didn't know this fact,

that on the top of the weather

vein on his house, he wanted specifically a dove and the sign of peace. And he was very, very

specific about what he wanted that dove to look like. And so the imagery of doves and a reference

to peace is something that is a part of Mount Vernon in the story of George Washington.
