My name is Jenna, and this is Smarter News.

Well, they say as one chapter closes, another one opens. We had the closing ceremony of the

0:22.8

Olympics just yesterday and now it's onwards to the Olympics in L.A. in four years, which is hard

0:29.6

to even think about. Let's think about 2028. Do you remember when 2024 sounded like crazy?

0:36.7

Like 2024? 2025, like 2024.

0:39.3

2025 sounds like that.

0:40.9

1:18.6

You know, it was the first time my five-year-old ever saw someone perform and compete in such a way.

1:24.5

And it was really amazing to see it through the eyes of children because you see

1:28.3

it through such a different lens. And I'm a little sad. I'm a little sad that it's over because it was a

1:34.1

nice distraction. It was a great time to bring the family together. We watched the Olympics almost every

1:40.5

single night. It was also a moment for the country to focus on something else

1:45.3

besides the election. And now with the chapter closing, it feels like we're really starting
