Welcome to Scoop where you get the scoop on this week's news. My name is Jenna and this is Smarter News.

0:08.0

Hello, hello everybody. It's great to see you on Monday, May 20th. This is actually our final

0:24.8

scoop of the month, only because I have some exciting things to share with you in the coming

0:31.9

week. And we're going into Memorial Day weekend, which we know as a time where we honor those

0:37.4

who made the ultimate sacrifice for

0:38.9

our country. Memorial Day, just as a reminder, and I think it's always important to mention this,

0:43.1

is not something I always knew before I became part of a military family. My husband, as many of you

1:36.6

for your service during Memorial Day, but it can be complicated for that person because

1:40.6

they're thinking about their teammates that maybe didn't make it out of their service.

1:48.1

So one of the things my husband taught me, and I'm sharing this just as a little smarter

1:51.6

tip, is you can say, you know, thank you for your service.

1:55.6

I'm really remembering all those who served and made such a sacrifice during this time.

2:02.1

It can be something very general, but it's an acknowledgement that you know that it's not just about veterans who served. It's about
