Hi, everybody. Welcome to this week's scoop. We are covering a rapidly developing story about these unidentified objects that the United States continues to shoot out of the sky. We went into this weekend not knowing what to expect. And it was Friday afternoon when we learned that the U.S. had engaged another object.

We got news of yet another on Saturday and news of yet another on Sunday.

We don't really have any words to describe these objects other than unidentified objects.

What we're watching right now on the screen if you're joining us live here is the press conference that's taking place a press briefing at the White House with John Kirby, who's sort of in the forward facing person on this issue for the White House. And we're gonna pay close attention to what he's saying. We've listened to a little bit in on this briefing. More or less, we're hearing a repeat of a lot of things that we learned this weekend. So what I want to do just today in this brief moment that we have together, and I'm going to try

to keep this shorter than normal, because we're going to focus just on this particular topic.

There's a lot of other news to get to when we look at the scoop for the week.

But this is the news of the moment, and it's historic in so many ways.

This is the first time that the United States has engaged in airborne objects and taken it out of the sky. We've

never seen that in U.S. history under the umbrella of NORAD in our own aerospace. We've

never seen that before. So this is different. It is something new in the

way that we're approaching it. Whether or not unidentified objects in the air over the United States

is a new topic or a new phenomenon is something that we're going to talk a little bit about.

So my goal today is just to get you caught up from the weekend. And I expect to actually visit with you again sometime this week because of the developments

of this story.
