Welcome to Scoop on a Monday, April 7th. It's great to see everybody. Jessica, I'm so glad you were

able to make it. Jessica says she blocks the time on her calendar for work, but still somehow there's an

intrusion during scoop time. And I know, Jessica, you were watching Scoop from the side of, was it a

practice of some sort for your kiddos? It's always interesting to see

where we're consuming news, isn't it? That it's all over the place these days. And it's one of the

reasons why we created smarter news is that I didn't feel like the traditional broadcasts

really worked for anyone anymore. I love the idea of being able to take a break and sit down

and watch the news is just not what our lifestyle is like.

And so how do we develop something that's quick and easy and to the point and meets you seamlessly throughout your day?

And that's what we're attempting to do here with smarter news. And you're such a big part of it. So thank you so much for joining us. I see so many new names on the live chat. It's great to see you

And I really want to talk with you through this broadcast. Obviously, one of the big news items

and the news item that we're going to focus on

today is really about tariffs. It is the news of the week. And it's not a topic that is served

well in 30-second sound bites. And because most of social media is really built on those,

you know, three, five, six, ten second sound bites,

we're getting parts of the story. And I don't want to, I don't want to shrug out,
