of news to get started on the week ahead. And we have quite a week in front of us that is really

bookmarked by several major stories and a little bit of catch-up from the previous week

and a little bit of a forward look towards the following week, or we're going to head

right into an inauguration of a brand new administration. It's hard to believe it's actually here.

In the middle of all of this, of course, is the major international story. It's not even just a

national story anymore, which are the California wildfires. And we're going to spend a little

time on that. I pulled out a couple

of the threads of this story that could be interesting while it's still very much developing

and weather's going to be a major source of concerns still out in California for the next several

days. We got a lot to talk about. And I'm glad to be with you finally again. Thank you for the

from one of you that we're going to address today when it comes to the economy. Let's just start

with something that affects us all that has nothing to do with anything particularly important

at this very moment. Other than it gives us a moment to have admiration for Mother Nature. My friend Mel is responsible for this.

She wrote me this morning a text message and she says, you know, what's going on with the moon? And I'm like, okay, what's going on with the moon? Is there something going on with the moon that I need to figure out? Because it's been a busy news year already. What is going on with the moon and she sent me a couple amazing photos ever drive to school with the kids and the moon just looked

absolutely miraculous and so what is going on with the moon? And she sent me a couple amazing photos of her drive to school

with the kids. And the moon just looked absolutely miraculous. And so what you should know is that we

actually are at the first full moon of 2025. It is called the Wolf Moon. And the legend goes that

this is a name that comes from Native American cultures, I should say, going back many years, and that it has to do with the wolf, the sound of a wolf howling at the moon.

That's why this moon had that sort of name, that this is when you would hear the wolves howling at this particular time in winter.
