Hello and welcome to a special edition of the Naked Scientists with me Miracinthi Lingham. And with me Ben Valsler.

This is a special show recorded in South Africa as we've

been in Grahamstown for Saipest Africa and we're now at the MTN Science Center in Cape Town.

We're bringing you the highlights of the festival along with a bit about

what we've been up to. Chris, Dave and I have been on stage all week with a show called

Chris Packet Fireworks using bright lights and loud bangs to wow the audience with the wonders of science.

While I've been out and about meeting the other speakers at the festival

and taking the opportunity to travel around Grahamstown to meet the local wildlife.

Coming up, we hear about a retirement home

for mistreated lions, and the story of the CELA camp,

a living fossil fish first found alive here in South Africa.

And we'll find out what the audience thought of our stage performance,
