You can imagine Hollywood, everything is really driven by making money.

What's with him?

I am joined by my banter buddy, John Horn of the Los Angeles Times, freshly back from Sundance.

And John, tell us, I understand the business was very brisk at the festival this year.

Yeah, and it wasn't just for narrative films.

There were a lot of deals done for documentaries.

It was, to me, one of the busiest sundances I have ever seen. I've been

going probably 20-some-odd years. Some very big sales like Fox Searchlight buying the way, way back

for $10 million, but a ton of deals in the two to three to $1 million range. And a lot of

documentaries that have sold. So we'll see if it was the mountain air, if the buyers were,

you know, maybe having a little bit too much at the local bars, but a ton of deals, and now

remains to be seen whether or not these movies will connect with audiences. Yes, we saw last
