And perhaps you've noticed, making sense of the

medification of consciousness that we've all been blasted into through portals unknown is not an easy thing.

I mean, even if you have all the appearances of being normalish or well adjusted, it's not easy.

And honestly, saying that is a huge understatement.

I mean, the sense-making process at large is an absolute mess in our civilization.

I mean, where do we even start?

Do we start with science? Do we start with spirituality and wisdom traditions?

Do we start with personal practices like meditation?

Or do we start with getting our bodies healthy?

It's a lot. And I mean, of course, the ideal answer is probably all of the above.

But who has time for that? It is literally a full-time job.

When I come across people who have sincerely dedicated their life to answering that giant question

of how we make sense of the human condition, I am definitely listening.

And I'm happy to say that psychiatrist Dr. Anna Yusum is absolutely one of those beings.

She's actually in the process of founding a new center at Yale,

the Mental Health and Spirituality Center, where she hopes to study everything from psychedelic medicine to near-death experiences and telepathy and meditation.

Of course, all of these things are not necessarily funded yet, as you'll hear.

But just knowing that she's that open-minded, that she wants to explore all possible modalities is really amazing, really exciting.

And from that, she's also the author of the book, Fulfilled.
