Professor Yaneer Bar Yam is a president of the New England Complex Systems Institute

and a pioneer of innovative mathematical techniques used to study the dynamics of real world

networks. His expertise in complexity science has deepened our understanding of a

financial crash, the global food supply crisis and episodes of major social unrest.

Yaneer was also involved in modeling the 2014 Ebbler outbreak in West Africa.

Now this episode was recorded on Thursday the 19th of March, It's the same day that 20% of Americans

were ordered to stay home and a few days before Congress passed the largest relief package
