Tonight, we're so excited to be joined by former sheriff, current Texas Congressman Troy Nell's.

Congressman Nell's, welcome to the right view. We're

excited to have you on. We're still talking about the shutdown. It is outrageous to so many

people, Congressman. We're still in it. This is the second longest shutdown in American history.

For people out there who are not fully grasping, what's going on on the other side of the aisle

opposite you because you are a Republican, give everybody a little taste of why it is the

Democrats are continuing to force the shutdown of our government.

Well, this is all Chuck Schumer.

Your viewers have to understand, we did our job.

And when I say we did our job, we did it almost 30 days ago in the house, and we passed a clean CR, meaning we didn't add any garbage to it.

And what your viewers need to understand is there were some

of us that said, I don't like voting for CRs. CRs are just kicking the can down the road. And I didn't

like it too much. I voted for it because it was Biden-level funding, Biden-level funding.

And so we got it done because we didn't want to shut down the government. Nobody wants to shut down the government, you would think, right? So we did our job. It's over in the Senate now. And Chuck Schumer is so irritated and so frustrated at what we did by passing that reconciliation package at one big beautiful bill, cutting spending by $2.8 billion, net deficit reduction,

the recisions package of $1.1 trillion. So the House has done their job and the Senate to

support President Trump by gutting the fish, so to speak, and Chuck Schumer hates it. So now what

he's trying to do is he wants

to restore that one point trillion in spending that we had when we got the rescissions. So it's

just, it's holding the American people hostage and people are going to feel the pain. Air traffic
