I'm Pete, joined by Darius and Mike. And the Lakers made a move over this weekend. And I love when this happens, guys, when they'll make a move on like a Friday and we don't record a pod for a

couple of days, so I get to sit with it for a little while. So I got a couple pages of notes, very

excited to talk about this. And there's a very obvious conversation to be had regarding, we've got

so many guards, so many of the pods that we've done recently have emphasized, we already had

one too many guards. And so let's put that

to the side for just a moment right now and just keep the focus on Dennis. I like this move in a

vacuum in that Dennis has been hooping. If you've been watching Eurobasket at all, there's been

some great basketball being played. He just led them to the bronze medal playing very well.

I think this is an important season to kind of hit the ground running.

And he's playing high-level basketball right now that you just can't replicate in the kind of like open runs at the practice facility.

And he's a two-way player.

He's not a three-and-d guy necessarily, but he is a contributor on both ends of the floor.

And Darius, there's some alternative timeline where we're, where Dennis Trudor is entering

the second year of a four-year extension with the Lakers being paid 20 million or so a year.
