So Christmas has come and gone,

and we are now free to barrel headlong into the new year.

But before we set out our stall for 2020,

we should probably just recap a few things that happened since we last spoke. Who can forget Boxing Day? Or should we say Foxing Day,

when the Romanian Barrister, the Jolian Moron, thought it might be a great idea to murder an innocent

fox in his garden with a baseball bat. The man who spent most of this year trying to stop Brexit

by taking the government to court, then thought it would be another great idea to tweet about his seemingly random and needless act of violence performed while he was wearing his wife's kimono.

Since then, the RSPCA has launched an investigation and our legal eagle morm has gone very quiet indeed.

As I said earlier to James Max, why didn't he just bore the fox to death with one of his diatrives about Brexit on Twitter? You know, those threads that he does, a thousand words,

2,000 words, 3,000 words. Meanwhile, the Labour Party is still trying to find a leader and

failing dismally. The latest name to mention the fray is Rebecca Long Bailey. But judging by her

job application in The Guardian today, calling for

progressive patriotism, whatever that is, she's not learned much from the election defeat.

Biggest election defeat, of course, the Labour Party since 1935, in case anyone's forgotten about that.
