Across the country, schools are allowing students to leave class during the day to attend

so-called anti-ice protest.

Much of the media is celebrating these kids for exercising free speech.

But before I tell you the real story, let's take a step back and add some much-needed

context.

You guys know I've been talking a lot about what's happening in Minneapolis following the

tragic deaths of Alex Pretty and Renee Nicole Good.

Both were shot and killed by federal ice agents in separate incidents.

And look, I've been very clear about two things, and I don't want to do anything to trivialize

this loss of life for these two people.

These are absolute tragedies.

There's no question about it.

Two people got up that day. They were alive. They were

passionate. They went out into the world and they didn't make it home that night. Everybody

would have to agree that's a tragic situation. The people that loved them and cared about them

that are left now with a horrible loss and void in their lives.

And second, people have been talking about why? Why did it have to happen? There are two sides

to every story. There's the side of these individuals that are tragically now gone forever,

and then there's the side of the law enforcement official that felt like they had to do what they did.

But there's a third side.

So when you look at it, it's a triangle.

One side says the ICE agents were justified.
