When an armed suspect is reported, the clock starts ticking immediately.

Seconds matter.

Minutes kill.

We all know now the three letter, the three word, run, fight, or hide, right?

Taught to every student across this nation who takes active shooter training.

And kids are taking it in elementary school.

I remember I worked at a college, and the NYPD emergency service unit, I'm not going to mention

the name of the college, offered this university a free

drill, a free active shooter drill, which could cost hundreds of thousand dollars if you hired

a security company. They offered to do it for free, and the college turned them down, yeah?

Because they didn't think it was a good look for their students or for their college

to have people see that, oh, this is a possibility.

But wait a minute, they're going to train your students and they're going to train your staff

and this could cost hundreds of thousands of dollars and they're going to do it for free.

And you turned it down, going back to culture.

The culture of the college doesn't want that, what they consider negative attention on their college.

And I'm sure Brown is very much the same or worse than this school

because they have horse blinders on, Mike.

Yeah, the administrators do not want to scare the children with reality.

Remember, that college campus, just like a high school campus,

you're not only teaching, but you're also ensuring their safety.
