Laura Papano is a journalist who's covered education for over 30 years, and we had such a great

conversation with her about why moms like us are the perfect champions for schools.

Like we always say, you don't have to be perfect to make a difference.

But before we get to that, what have you guys been seen in the news?

It's been a minute since we've discussed the news.

Oh, man.

It was interesting to see January 6th come around again, because that is very much, like,

it replays in my mind.

It is something that we all watched.

And it was interesting to hear how divided our country still is on that.

But don't you think the narrative is changing?

There were people after January 6th, 2021, and they were like, even Trump supporters

or Trump voters, maybe not supporters, but people who voted for him, who said they were

really upset by it.

And now I think this constant, constant drumbeat of everything. who said they were really upset by it.
