I want to talk about this, it's a fair to call it a new axis, North Korea joining now with

Russia, China, Iran. How dangerous is the world right now? And I want it be particular, the second topic.

How dangerous is the world for the next five months?

I have, I've thought all along that there was a medium-term danger if the powers that you just

mentioned in particular got the idea that the irresolution of the present American administration

was a long-term thing they could count on.

If they get that idea and have some reason to believe it, then I would say they're going to

take what they can.

And I don't think North Korea will attack South Korea because it's a much stronger country.

I have never thought that China would be in any hurry to attack Taiwan because the dangers of an absolute fiasco in an amphibious operation are too great.

I take Victor's point that they would try and isolate Taiwan and intimidated with boycotts and things, but I don't think they can do that.

I think it's too dangerous to their dignity to try it.
