What was your main takeaway from the state game?

Well, Vip, I'm recording this podcast in Dallas and it's cold and wet and rainy and

gloomy here. And I promise you, it's way worse than North Carolina right now, you know.

Take all the excuses you can think of and throw them out the window. You know, the wet turf,

the cleat, the cleat situation, the personal fouls on Atkinson or Chapman,

you know, the field goal debacle at the end of the first half, throw all those out the window,

you know, we got out physicaled, out coached, out hit, out executed, out schemed.

You know, we were playing the biggest game of the year versus opponent that we hate, or most of us hate, and we lay the biggest egg of the year. You know, bigger egg, in my opinion, than BT, I mean, not BT, GT, and Virginia, you know, in the most critical game of the year, in my opinion, we play our worst half of football,

which was the first half of that game, and arguably the most important half of the season.

You know, our body language was terrible. Our effort was terrible. Physicality was nowhere to be

found. Execution, like I mentioned, was like the energy on the sideline was non-existent.
