former Carolina linebacker and Carolina analyst, Jeff Schotmer. Shot, I can hear the boys are back in town playing somewhere off in the distance.

It's great to see your face.

How have you been and how excited are you to be back here right now?

First of all, I've been great. I mean, we're approaching the best time of the year.

And second of all, I can't believe you, you know, persuaded me to get back on this show and

do this for another year. But, you know, as football season rolls around, you just get more and more excited.

And especially once you're out of the game, you got to get your football fix in. And you know,

my juices are flowing. I'm ready to strap my pads on for a practice or two, maybe a game,

a couple plays, but it's the best time of the year. You know, there's nothing on TV right now.

The Olympics are over.

We're just watching August baseball.

You know, actually we got some preseason NFL games on.

We got hard knocks, but, you know, we're just gearing up for college football Saturdays.
