Just a couple of minutes ago, John Mara puts out a statement.

New York Giants keeping Brian Dayball and Joe Shane.

And there will not be a change this offseason with those two guys.

They both signed five-year deals. This is going to be a year four coming up for them. And we'll see where they get their quarterback from.

And that's really going to determine whether or not these guys are going to stick around for years four and five and beyond.

But one of the things you don't want is what happened in Chicago this past year,

where Matt Eber Fluse was on the hot seat.

They end up drafting Caleb Williams.

They fire their offensive coordinator.

Then they fire Matt Eber Fluse.

And now Caleb Williams is going to have his third offensive coordinator in the course of a season starting next year as a rookie quarterback and that is a formula how you mess up one of those guys so if they do end up drafting a quarterback you got to hope that it works out and it works out quickly so that that guy doesn't

get into that rookie QB blender that you can never get out of.

All right. Here's a question for you. So the Titans have the number one overall pick. The

Browns have the number two overall pick. Both teams are going to be looking for young

quarterbacks you would assume. Yeah. Even though Deshaun Watson still is going to be on the Browns next year,

I think that that whole thing has been an unmitigated disaster. And bringing a young quarterback in there is not going to be fun.
