The Yankees did indeed shut out the Red Sox for nothing, and it was a shutout by Mr. Schlittler.

I mean, he's old enough and he knows enough Yankees to realize that that can't be true, right?

I don't know. I think caught in the moment, clearly. But, no, he should... I mean, Don Larson's perfect game against the Dodgers in the World Series. Is the best pitching performance in the history of the game. Yeah. Yes. And he was a Yankee. He was. Yeah, that is true. And it was a World Series. hugged him and jumped on him. Against the Brooklyn Dodgers. Correct. Yeah, I kind of think it's blown this one out of proportion a little bit compared to that. Yeah. That said, this was a phenomenal performance by the 24-year-old rookie. 4-0 was the final score. Bednar did close it out in the ninth. here was Schlittler. How do you stay so calm at such a young age? I think I always have a good composure, and that's something I've been able to handle really well at the big league level. So for me, it's just kind of sick in my routine and not to think it too much between each end. Pretty damn good, no doubt. Here is Aaron Judge on yes in the locker room.

What impressed him about Schlittler?

Just a composure. You're going on because a great lineup with a lot of guys on that team that have been in the postseason before, you know, especially with Alex Bregglingman right there in the middle. He's a guy who's been in, you know, World Series big moments and, you know, it's just a tough matchup for a rookie. but Cam went out there, he attacked him with all his pitches

and did something real special, real special.

I love his wind-up. I really do. It's just, it's so, like, there's not a lot to it. It's very simple. Yeah. And he just takes one step back, lifts the leg up, and away we go. And he's got, a perfect throwing motion. Pretty good. Yeah. Here's Ben darn. How about the playoffs and pinstripes for him? Oh, man, it was awesome. The crowd was absolutely electric, and it was, what a game. You know, Schlett pitch an awesome game, and man, what a great team win. And you saw the headline, you know, the post?
