The one thing that I want to start with is what Cam Schlittler looked like yesterday.

I mean, that kid looks like a star.

He looked like a star last year in the playoffs.

He looks like a real bona fide.

I mean, they got a number one in waiting.

Now, they got Garik Hall coming back.

And this kid just looked like it was an everyday, you know, minor league game yesterday, and he was just throwing gas. I mean, his pitches were unbelievable. And listening to David Cohn actually talk about what he was doing and the pitches he was throwing. And I'd ever do this about pitching, but, you know, David Cohn said yesterday that there were times where, like, he would be warm up and he was trying to hit the plate with a curveball.

He was trying to hit the plate with it because he can get a guy swinging and missing, and that's exactly what happened yesterday for Cam Schlittler.

But I will say another, we got another young star here in our midst that just looked unhittable yesterday.

Yeah, and what I love about him is the confidence that he has

because he throws so many fastballs.

So it's not like he's a guy that's got like this eight-pitch arsenal

that's keeping everybody off balance.

He's attacking guys constantly, constantly, constantly,

and he knows he's got great stuff he believes in

himself now i know this mariner's lineup has been a little bit disappointing to start the year their top

three guys have been brutal but they're still really good hitters over the course of their

careers and you know he's just he's just picking them off one by one like it's nothing so

it's something to be really really excited about I would have seen him go deeper into the game. It was only 79 pitches, I believe, when Aaron Boone came and got him. But we know this is the world these days. He's probably thinking, hell, I mean, we're smacking his team around. You know, we got a 4-0 lead at this point, even though they cut into that, made it 4-2 before the Ben Rice home run.

But you've got to be absolutely thrilled watching this guy if you're a Yankee fan.

So now, Cam Schlittler and the idea of Garrett Cole coming back and still having good years left at the top of that rotation with

Max Fried.
