We come to you tonight after deciding game number three, and we can sum the game up, obviously, in two words.

This was an all-time performance tonight against an overmatched Red Sox lineup.

Listen, if the socks were going to, and I thought the socks would be dangerous because of crochet and because of the style of play.

But this crochet delivered on the goods and they win game one.

So they put the Yankees behind the eight ball for games two and three, and everything had to go well.

And it was a dangerous second game.

But if the Red Sox were going to win this series, they were going to do the things they do, which is put pressure on the Yankee defense, execute, play defense, and then pitch in big spots.

The Red Sock defense was bad last night.

Their base running was bad last night.

They made countless mistakes last night.

They couldn't get a bunt down.

And then tonight, in the fourth inning, the only inning where anybody scores in this

game, which had no offense in it, absolutely none.

They played horrific defense behind a kid who I was very impressed with.

I'd never seen kind of early before.

I thought he was terrific against the Yankee lefties.

I thought he did a great job. He threw a bad pitch to Stanton who thought he had a home run and it was lucky that he got

the second base on the play. But then he comes right back and strikes out Rice. And he struck

out Chisholm that inning. And he got Rosario out. And then in the inning where the Yankees
