Hello and welcome back to the WTF1 podcast with your usual host myself, Hayden Gulles, and James Coker.

This is currently the 11th of the 11th.

We're in a break of Formula One, this weird end of season where we do a triple header,

and then we have a break, and then we have another triple header.

But we've got a two week break at the moment.

So news for this sort of week before, of course, not being a race week, is a bit sparse.

But we have got some stuff to talk about.

I'm going to kick things off with a new Instagram account, James, that was brought to us by the GPDDA,

the Grand Prix Drivers Association, which is obviously

the collective of all the former one drivers together. George Russell is in charge of that

in terms of the driver's side. And they have come with the message that is basically a big

middle finger up to the FIA and what's been going on in recent times of telling them that they're not allowed to swear and giving out driver

fines for swearing and also for what underwear they're wearing and jewelry, etc., etc.

And also wanting to know where the money has gone when it comes to fines from drivers,

because the FIA is a non-profit organization.

So they just want a bit of transparency on that.

James, what's our thoughts about this, about this coming together?

Is there like a shorter way to say ground

pre drivers association you say like jipida jibada jibada just gpdaa right or is

that longer would you say that's longer i guess jpda works yeah uh i think it's great

i think it's a um i think them starting an instagram account and issuing this

statement was a great way to take control of the narrative because they didn't really have like a formal way to issue any sort of like statement to the press.
