When we move to the one-story house we live in now, we're not the original owners, some

strange things started happening. Would be woken up in the middle of the night

by heavy footsteps, sounded like boots walking down the

hall, but nothing was there.

I was woken up in the middle of the night by what sounded like someone tripping

over the huge bag of Legos we had in the hallway, but nothing was there, and all my family was

sound asleep. Our home security system even caught something on camera. It looked like someone

crashed into the bag, but with no person actually there.

There were times where I would be woken up by what sounded like my youngest son falling from the top bunk, a huge crash.

I raced to go check on him but he was sound asleep

and just fine many times I would wake up around 3.30 a.m. the scary time I would feel

a presence though not visible.

One time, when my husband was out of town, I was lying in my bed thinking that I really needed to turn off the bathroom light.

And then the light turned off by itself.

Totally freaked me out. It's never happened before or since.

And it wasn't because of a loose connection.

I actually heard the click of the switch.

Another time my husband and I were cooking and talking in the kitchen, the pot lid mysteriously turned itself upside down on the pot while we were just talking.

It couldn't have been either of us, or our kids as they were playing outside. We set our prayers and commanded that the

thing leave the house. This seemed to work for a time. But then we started hearing

whispers and my boys would see shadows by their rooms.
