Not a pretty thing to see.

In 1984, my family moved into what I consider my childhood home.

It was a ranch-style house.

This style of house makes it easy for a person to walk all around the house without much obstruction.

It's because of this layout that our dog was able to sprint all throughout the house at times as if it was being chased

And because of the experiences I had in the house, I believe that it was being chased by something.

At night my dog would lay on me, possibly to protect me,

as I would experience things jumping on my bed and even in it.

That wouldn't be the only thing I experienced to make me believe my childhood home was haunted.

Almost nightly, sitting in my vanity chair in the corner of my room would be an old lady.

I would find out later that I wasn't the only one in the house who

encountered these strange things. A different time my dad had woken up to check on all

of us while everyone was asleep, just doing a fatherly duty, all the doors were shut.

Before going back to bed, he saw what looked like a man leaving my room and going down the hallway.

When I was a teenager, I had two very strange paranormal

counters. One time in the middle of the night, I woke up to someone sitting on my

bed, an older gentleman in a suit. He asked me if I liked the rain. It scared me, but I truly

don't think he wanted to harm me. It was raining that night and I had my window open. I'm pretty

sure it was my grandpa that passed on just checking on me.

The other encounter happened when I was waking up for school.

As I opened my eyes, standing next to my bed was a troll. It was about four feet tall and not the prettiest thing to look at.
