In the new horror film From the Shadows,

two professors linked to a supernatural cult played by Bruce

Davison and Keith David. Yeah, they got the casting. They've disappeared and the cult survivors,

a group of five college kids, are on the run from mysterious Shadow People.

They enlist the aid of a paranormal debunker, Dr. Amara Brown, played exquisitely in this project

by Salina Andus, and the whole movie takes place virtually all of it via a Zoom-like platform

where the main characters interact and as these young people try to convince the

skeptical doctor they begin to be picked off one by one in rather gruesome ways.

But the format mixes, smartphone footage, computer conference footage, and some traditional

narrative to present this tale.

It's a cult horror picture about cults. It's blessed to have music by John Carpenter's frequent composer Alan Howorth and

Outstanding performances from Bruce Davison and our next guests. I am so thrilled to welcome these two artists to this program.

One of our finest actors, multiple Emmy Award winner and Tony nominee,

he just won the Enable ACP Image Award for the series from scratch

and so many great credits on Broadway of course in the

revivals of August Wilson seven guitars and Jelly Last Jam but films my god platoon

John Carpenter's the thing requiem for a dream something Something about Mary, Spike Lee's Clockers,

The Princess and the Frog, my kid's favorite film,

and of course, one of our greatest voiceover actors
