You know what I had yesterday?

I was going to have ice cream.

Somebody said ice cream is really, really good.

You know when you're ill?

For some reason, you always get a bowl of ice cream.

And I suddenly realise why.

Because a bowl of ice cream is very soothing on the throat. I didn't have ice cream yesterday. I had melon balls. I only wanted a little pot of ice cream. You know those little Hargandars things, little tiny pots? I thought, I really fancy one of those. And I couldn't find any. I did have a look around. There were big tubs of ice cream. I don't want a big tub of ice cream. I'm not really that interested.

In the end, I bought a pack of melon balls and ate those instead.

And it seems to have done some good. And then this morning, I had some cold water.

Somebody said, so I'm going to drink cold water. It will have sort of worn itself in a little bit.

Two people have spoken, well, one I've spoken to before, Nigel Plainer, and the other one I haven't spoken to before. Sheena Easton, who's coming into town to do 42nd Street. Now, those regular

listeners to the programme will know that I know everything about 42nd Street, because a friend of my, mine Michael was in it when it was at Theatre Royal Drury Lane. Who was in it at the same time? Catherine Zeta Jones. That was what, that was the show that made her a star. That was the show that made her a star. Anyway, so I'll be doing those later on today, so I'm very much looking forward to that. I might, well, they've got any ice cream up in the canteen here.
