We are in a study in the book of Revelation, for those of you who are not normally with us,

and we come to a passage this morning that is the most terrifying reality that this

universe will ever experience.

And that is what this description is intended to convey.

For all those people who what this description is intended to convey.

For all those people who think we can control the climate or the environment or determine

the perpetuity of the earth or anything else that is part of God's divine creation, that

kind of folly and hubris looks idiotic in the light of this particular passage of Scripture.

I want to read it to you, chapter 6 of Revelation verses 12 to 17.

I looked when he broke the sixth seal.

And there was a great earthquake, and the sun became black as sackcloth made of hair.

The whole moon became like blood.

And the stars of the sky fell to the earth as a fig tree cast its unripe fruit when shaken
