Summary

Baylee Rayl Christophel didn’t grow up dreaming about CrossFit—but sports were always in her blood. So how does a basketball player and collegiate golfer end up competing year after year at the CrossFit Games?  In this episode, Baylee chats with Sadie about her fitness journey, the moment her faith became everything, how she met her husband (who now competes right alongside her), and why she’s learned that success isn’t about winning—it’s about finishing strong. They also dive into facing fears: Sadie recalls a high school two-mile race she didn’t want to run, and Baylee shares moments when her worst fears hit the competition floor head-on. middle of games training, which is like all day. They didn't know what they were signing up for,

1:21.3

but they handled it so well. How many hours a day did y'all work out for? We typically work

out like three hours in the morning, three hours in the afternoon. So they were there for both sessions. I remember his friend was like, do you have any grips? I'm like, yes, I have extra. You're going to need those. But they did so good. And y'all swim in the pond, like miles. Like they were struggling. They didn't complain one time. They were just loving it. We were proud of them. They really did have the most fun time ever. And it was so funny because, like, so, you know, you all were posting videos or I don't know who all was posting the videos. I'm like seeing all these people. And to me, that's such a foreign world. Like, I've never seen the CrossFit games and the people. And then I saw you as like, this girl is legit. Like,
