When we go down to this spot in the river, she gets turned around and we're sitting on a tailgate.

Pretty much from the time we pulled in, we just had this feeling that we were not alone or we were being watched.

This thing, this creature had popped out from the woods and we're standing there.

I think my brain was telling me, you're not seeing what you're seeing.

And I remember it across the river and we watched it.

I remember her telling me that you can't walk through there because it's too deep.

But this creature hadn't made it across the river amongst all that and started coming up on our side of the land.

It started walking towards us and we were still, I guess, the word to be petrified, we were frozen stiff.

Do you mind, Sharon, one of your dads encounters that he shared with you?

Well, I know he was, I was some buddies.

You know, there, you know, little kids, eight, ten, twelve, or so, something like that.

You know, back in the late 70s, there wasn't phones, there wasn't a whole lot of electronic deals.

It was, you know, the outdoors lifestyle, I guess, how I grew up.

He was out with his friends.

I guess he had to take a leak or what have you and he stepped off away from the group.

I don't know how far he walked in the woods or whatever, but he stepped off away from the group.

And, you know, he's taking care of business and he just said he happened to look up and there was this big creature

that was standing behind a tree and it decided to, you know, make itself more obvious, some more known.

And that's when he panicked and I guess, you know, took off running whatever but.

And, you know, he always told me he was like, man, pretty much zip my towel in the acro and my jeans.

You know, I'm trying to get away from that thing because I was scared kind of deal.

But there was a lot of stuff that happened, you know, I think he probably wanted to tell this story.
