And when we're disconnected and we're not doing well because we're in a fight or one of us is hurting and we can't find our connection,

it's like I don't have I'm operating in my life without one of those rocket

visitors and it's I'm just not as strong. It's a very strange and some people would call that, you know, cod dependent and they'd have another number of different labels for it.

I don't, that's fine, I don't care. I just know from my own experience that more is possible when my partner and I are

working our connection in a strong way. And so all the more reason to learn how to be connected and to have both rocket boosters plugged in to each other.

Okay, and it's strange, but our connection, I call it the secure home base, and when that is strong, more as possible.

And if you've partnered with someone for a really long time, you notice this, right?

That when you're plugged into them, you can do more.

And when you're unplugged because of drama, fighting, etc, life is already hard and now it just got harder.

Because now you have to go home to stress, relational stress.

Your home is harder to be in. It's harder to sleep next to this person because your

nervous system is seeing them as a threat. So we do the work on ourselves so that

we can have that go away and we can work through that.
